Deuces Wild Motorcycle Club was founded by 4 men that had been riding together since 01' on a regular basis, our friendships went beyond motorcycles, we were more than "boys" were family. We would ride after work till the wee hours of the night and beat the sun home. The weekends were no different, we rode all of DC and out of town trips. From the old spots like V St., to Anacostia Park, to Haines Point and the McDonalds at Howard, we rode the cramped city streets like they were clear roadways.
After about 2 years we noticed something, other clubs in the area weren't letting anyone ride with them unless they were with their club or clique, the way we are we didn't fit into the clubs on the set (at that time it was around 10 clubs) so we decided to start our own club and we let folks ride with us who had enough skills and sense to keep up. When we started we aint know nothing but we loved riding our bikes and we liked hanging with the same folks. As the years have gone we've met many of the elder clubs in the DC area and as a show of respect we have taken some of their ways as our own. We're not for the bullshit and we try our damndest to keep it moving. We understand to make it to 20+ years you got to have good people and people dedicated to the organization. We aint no fly by night club, this is DEUCE LIFE!
Since the beginning of the club we've given alot of support to all of the established respectable clubs on the set and in turn the set has returned the love back ten-fold. We been there to lend a hand, be it to our family the REBELS and the HILLRIDERS, and anyone from the community. Advice, a tow, mediation, we done it and haven't hesitated to offer our help.
No club is perfect and we've had our moments, one example is an escalated altercation between brothers, but as any real family we kept it in house , dirt gets handled in house, and what don't break you up makes you stronger. Ain't no breaking up and starting no offshoot here. We don't have open membership, you can't ask to become a member, "if you hang around us enough and you 'FIT IN' to the family that's a you might be Deuce material. "No choice but to be a DEUCE" and another's "Deuces by Choice, Wild by nature" . We real dudes and respect every member in or out our club.
The set has grown and changed but we haven't, we say "Years will come and go, fly by nights will come and go but the DEUCES will always be here". We 5+ years heavy, we're starting to feel old, we see division amongst some of the younger clubs and we see some questionable shit with others so we feel the good old days when it was just about your bike and folks who rode male or female with the same love and respect for their motorcycle, for now at least, we feel the set will get back to that and it will again be about the rider and his or her bike. We will continue to do DEUCES as an example of an MC you can stand by and be proud of. Your colors are not something you throw on on weekends. Yes this is a hobby but respect the ones that do this for life, this a way of life (and I mean motorcycles not the extra shit thats comes with it), if your a fly by nite, do you; but at least show respect. Respect your colors, respect your club and respect the set and the set will get better and grow in the right direction.
"I'm a Deuce, this is bigger than bikes, this is bigger than the set, this is my family, these are my brothers. These are the men that are there for me when the world isn't."
